Back in 2019, we started StreamIntellect because we noticed something missing in Taiwan's film industry. Many talented creators had amazing stories but struggled with the technical side of bringing them together in post-production.
Our founder, Marcus Chen, had spent years working on indie films and corporate projects. He kept seeing the same pattern – great footage that needed someone who really understood pacing, color, and storytelling to make it shine.
We began with just three editors working out of a small studio. Our first major project was a documentary about local street food vendors. The filmmaker had hours of footage but couldn't figure out how to weave it into a compelling narrative. That's where we came in.
Today, we work with everyone from independent filmmakers to international production companies. But we still approach each project the same way – as storytellers first, technicians second.
